Camill Ammirati
I am the Director of Research and Programs at TAUNY (Traditional Arts in Upstate New York) in Canton, NY. My background is in mid-19th- to mid-20th-century American literature and cultural history, and I now work as a folklorist, documenting and showcasing the cultural heritage and everyday life of the North Country. I'm also a musician, playing mainly Appalachian string band music (banjo, guitar, and singing), among other styles.
